The Healing Effects of Rhythm with Reinhard & Cornelia Flatischler

Born in Vienna and trained as a concert pianist, Reinard Flatischler developed TaKeTiNa in 1970. In 1989 Cornelia Flatischler joined him as a co-leader, and enriched the teaching with her extensive knowledge of meditation, Tao Yoga, Tai Chi, and other healing arts. Reinhard. Flatischler sits on the Scientific Committee of the International Society for Music in Medicine, and is a member of the Society for Chronobiological Research in Vienna. He is the leader and composer for the group MegaDrums, and has produced some of the world's best-selling percussion CDs.

He is the author of several books including:

• The Forgotten Power of Rhythm : Taketina (Life Rhythm 1992)
• The Power of Rhythm - TAKETINA (Life Rhythm 2011)
