The mathematics that the brain apparently uses for memory are the same as those used in creating a hologram, says Michael Talbot in this interview recorded shortly before his death in 1992. This and other scientific evidence suggests that the mind/brain - and perhaps the entire universe – is a kind of hologram. Based on the theories of David Bohm combined with the brain research of Karl Pribram, this revolutionary model of reality sheds new light on such phenomena as psychic powers, poltergeists, hypnosis and faith healing, and opens up exciting new possibilities of human thought and potential practical applications. Bio

Michael Talbot (1953 –1992) was an American author of several books highlighting parallels between ancient mysticism and quantum mechanics, and espousing a theoretical model of reality, based on the research and conclusions of physicist David Bohm and neuropsychologist Karl H. Pribram, that suggests the physical universe is akin to a hologram. According to Talbot, ESP, telepathy, and other paranormal phenomena are a product of this holographic model of reality.
