Day and night, the coming and going of the tides, the pulse of the heart, the clapping of hands, the beat of the drum - these are the connection to the rhythms of life. Beginning his musical journey at the early age of four, Reinhard Flatischler went on to become an international performer by the age of 15. Studying under shamans and masters from around the world eventually led him to an adaptation of his own ideas and ultimately to the creation of his own method, TA KE TI NA, a natural, intuitive method for presenting concepts of rhythm. TA KE TI NA delves into the rhythmic archetypes, which are anchored deep in the human consciousness. "It is not about learning rhythm on a certain instrument, it is about falling into rhythm and how to use your body as the instrument" relates Flatischler. For more than a decade he has toured the globe with his partner, Cornelia Flatischler, conducting workshops and concerts. (hosted by Michael Toms)
