Sera Beak traveled the world to fulfill her lifelong desire to find God and an authentic spiritual expression. She says, “I was really looking for this connection to the beloved that I have felt since I was a child…I have a natural respect for each of the religious traditions, I also felt pretty frustrated and a bit alone because try as I might, I couldn’t find a community, tradition, lineage, or a teacher that really resonated with my red heart.” This journey took her through many traditions and lineages and eventually led to a sacred descent of the soul, severing all connections with the divine. Her story will resonate with many of us who find ourselves on a pilgrimage of the spirit. Beak advises us to clear the “spiritual clutter” from our lives, put aside our spiritual bypassing, and be willing to find and express our own experience. She assures us that the soul is constantly communicating to us through metaphor, dreams, and synchronicities. It is through patterns in our lives that our soul is dropping hints of itself everywhere.
