Welcome to New Dimensions Radio!
Would crutches be the best treatment for leg weakness? Not! So why do we assume glasses are the best answer to vision problems? This pioneering optometrist tells us how he questioned conventional wisdom and came up with some radical insights on vision and human health. Prescription lenses and sunglasses, he says, can be addictions that prevent us from really seeing the world as it is. And we can improve not only our eyesight but our “insight”—our awareness of how our lives are shaped by what and how we choose to see. “Everything,” says Liberman, “is in the eyes of the beholder.” He also discusses his therapeutic work with light and color, and gives practical advice on light bulbs and window glass. Whether or not you wear corrective lenses, this discussion will open your eyes to a new way of seeing what is possible. (hosted by Michael Toms)
