Like the law of gravity, there are universal laws of the Spirit that are available to all of us. They rest within our hearts and at the heart of every religion and spiritual tradition. Often, we discover these laws through various mentors we have met along the way. These encounters with great teachers inspire our spiritual quest in a myriad of ways. Sometimes they teach “Crazy Wisdom,” or they throw hurdles in our way. Other times, they quietly transmit practical wisdom for living wisely and well. This deep dialogue explores the spiritual journey of a peaceful warrior and uncovers many spiritual laws in everyday life. He gives us a taste of the four mentors who guided him on his spiritual quest. “I'm so happy to be able to acknowledge the four mentors who contributed to my own work. We stand on the shoulders of others. It was Michael Bookbinder, the Warrior-Priest, who taught me the concept of spiritual laws, of immutable, deep principles that we can apply to help overcome the hurdles on our life path. I wrote a little book, The Laws of Spirit, which has laws like the Law of Balance, the Law of Presence, the Law of Choices, that are essential reminders for how to live well and to rely on these as we would on the law of gravity.” (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)
