Welcome to New Dimensions Radio!
In 1969 Elisabeth Kubler-Ross asked, "What happens to us as we die?" In 1975 Raymond Moody asked, "What happens to us when we die?" In 1994, Sherwin Nuland introduced us to the physical realities of death itself. One of the first researchers to study the cross-cultural dimensions of the after death, Sukie Miller here asks, "What happens to us after we die?" Miller has interviewed shamans, priests, religious leaders and holy men and women in India, Indonesia, Brazil, West Africa and the U.S. She has discovered that, by opening up to new possibilities in coping with the reality of death, we may increase our chances of an easier journey into the beyond. She notes, "There's a world of richness from the psyche that we don't ask about, that it's considered rude to talk about, that people don't have the language or the 'permission' to talk about."
