New Dimensions started interviewing Dr. Weil in 1980. This interview was conducted in 1985. He’s the author of the classic The Natural Mind first published in the 1972 and later revised. Here he views the changing world of conventional and alternative medicine and makes some startling revelations in the process including: how mushrooms are capable of activating the immune system; the provocative possibilities of firewalking; the challenge and opportunities of alternative healing methods; drug use and abuse and how the government's drug policies require radical revamping; plus, a great deal more are covered by Weil in this thought-provoking and myth-shattering dialogue. If you want to be healthy, you'll want to hear Weil's views. (hosted by Michael Toms)
