Bios: 

Michael Lerner, Editor of the groundbreaking political/social/spiritual magazine TIKKUN, rabbi of Beyt Tikkun synagogue in San Francisco, and author of, among other books, The Politics of Meaning and most recently Spirit Matters: Global Healing and the Wisdom of the Soul, is one of contemporary America's most important socio-political/spiritual thinkers. 

Matthew Fox, an ordained priest since 1967, is a visionary theologian and founder and president of the University of Creation Spirituality in Oakland, CA. Fox's many books and lectures synthesize ecological and social justice, mysticism and blessing. His books include Sins of the Spirit, Blessings of the Flesh and The Reinvention of Work: A New Vision of Livelihood for Our Time

Joanna Macy, Ph.D., a scholar of Buddhism, general systems theory and deep ecology and a leading voice in movements for peace, justice, and a safe environment, is the author of, among other books, Despair and Personal Power in the Nuclear Age; Thinking Like a Mountain; Mutual Causality in Buddhism and General Systems Theory; World as Lover, World as Self; Coming Back to Life: Practices to Reconnect Our Lives, Our World; and Widening Circles. She travels widely giving lectures, workshops, and trainings and serves as adjunct professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, the Starr King School for the Ministry, and the University of Creation Spirituality.
