Ecosystems are collapsing and Dave Foreman is working to return large carnivores, "keystone species," like the wolf and the jaguar to the American West. Native American Dennis Martinez is a restorative ecologist, who would say the true "keystone species" has traditionally been indigenous humans. In this program, successful approaches to restoring habitat uncover two fascinating views of nature and our place in it.

Dave Foreman, chairman of The WildLands Project and a member of the Board of Directors of the New Mexico Wilderness Alliance. He is author of Confessions of an Eco-Warror

Dennis Martinez, who is of O'odham/Chicano heritage, is the founder of the Indigenous Peoples Restoration Network.
