These words, spoken days before his death in 1952, convey the fundamental teaching of Paramahansa Yogananda, that each of us can look within to find light, consciousness, joy - God. Widely revered as one of the preeminent spiritual figures of the twentieth century, this beloved teacher awakened a new vision of spirituality and consciousness for thousands, bringing the spiritual wisdom of the East to the western world. Bro. Chidananda is an ordained minister who has played a key role in making Yogananda's message available to seekers of our generation. His own light and spiritual awakening enliven this interview as he shares stories of his teacher's travels and work and, most important, his message. Bio

Bro. Chidananda has been a monk in the Self-Realization Fellowship's monastic community for more than twenty-five years, and serves on the SRF International Publications Council.

He has assisted in the editing and publication of numerous books by Paramahansa Yogananda, including:
