America as a Third-World nation? That’s exactly what radio journalist and satirist Scoop Nisker suggests - with tongue firmly planted in cheek. “We should apply to the U.N. for status as an impoverished nation,” he argues, “then build on what we have more of than anybody else - entertainment - and turn the entire country into a theme park called ‘Formerly Great America.’” Don’t miss this romp through the would-be economics of “Zen Socialism” (“From each according to his Karma, to each according to his vibes.”) for a send-up of society’s ongoing international sitcom. Nisker provides the one-liners; you provide the laugh track.
