For more than 40 years, Sam Daley-Harris has worked to help people find ways to “make democracy viable”. He advocates deep listening and engaging face-to-face with members of Congress. It’s about working beyond just donating money, signing petitions, or writing letters to the editor. It’s about deep engagement and participating in a cause that you care about. He outlines why all effective political advocacy is relational rather than digital activity. Daley-Harris is all about lighting the fire of each of us to make a difference in the world as he provides powerful structures of support so that our courage is what drives us, not our fear. He offers specific trainings to groups and organizations for transformational advocacy. (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)
