This is an extraordinary interview on conflict and peace. Parry tells deeply moving stories from his own life - from the streets of Belfast, Northern Ireland to his own neighborhood laundromat. They are stories of anger, truth and healing - topics to which he has devoted his life. Initially a physicist and then a psychotherapist, he later traveled around the world offering a daringly honest approach to conflict resolution. “You can’t have conflict resolution without conflict,” said Parry. “What I have found, both at the international level and in my own bedroom, is that if you fix it too fast or avoid it, you will never reach resolution. Bio

Danaan Parry (1939 – 1996) worked in conflict resolution around the world, including Northern Ireland and the former Soviet Union.  He was the founder of the Earthstewards Network, which runs the Israel-Palestine Compassionate Listening Project, promoting Jewish-Israeli-Palestinian friendship.
