Meredith Young-Sowers, Ph.D., has developed a unique system of energy healing that uses the power of intuition to resolve physical and emotional imbalance. She sees illness and unhappiness as opportunities to open new pathways to connecting with our spirituality. "It's very easy to feel that somehow we've failed if we get sick," she notes. But Dr. Young-Sowers points out that "we're all sick. We all have things we want to heal. So we have to realize that we're working on pieces that bring us into greater intimacy and harmony with ourselves." Drawing on ancient teachings about chakras and energy medicine, as well as recent research on emotional healing and the power of prayer, she listens to messages from the body and from our intuition to access information not normally available to the conscious mind. The result is a powerful technique for healing body, mind, and spirit at the deepest levels, plus a renewed connection to love and compassion. (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)
