It’s said that a fairytale is a mystical story stemming from an oral folklore tradition that teaches the higher virtues of life through simple stories and sagas. It’s nothing short of an alchemical adventure where mortals, beasts and the forces of dark and light intermix. In fairytales, as in life, there is an initiation, a leaving home and entering the forest and encountering dark forces. Then, there is an enchantment, the miracle, the kiss, the mentor, the stranger who may look like a frog or some outside event that propels us into our transformation, and hopefully, if our lives follow this path, there is an awakening. The curse is broken and we glimpse the gold or the truth. This dialogue explores how the imagery of fairytales helps us to better understand our evolutionary path. Isha Lerner says, “Fairytales impact all ages, adults and children alike, and they can move us toward an awakening.” She goes on to encourage us to become the protagonist of our own story. “As the protagonist you are moving through your life as a means to awaken and if we accept that our journey is perfect and that we’ve been given experiences as a way to reach a point of our own karmic freedom and liberation, then we’ve made something very treasured out of tragedies that happen in our life.” (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)

Bio

Isha Lerner is an astrologer, tarot scholar, flower essence practitioner and owner of the Power of Flowers Essence Company. She is known for her expertise and research into fairytale mythology and the study of archetypes. She offers karmic astrological counseling that focuses on the imprint of past lives, which she calls Power Mapping.
