The Enneagram is a tool for self-understanding that describes nine different personality types based on how we feel, think and behave. It has been evolving for thousands of years, and yet is one of the greatest predictors of success in the modern business world. It also offers valuable insights into how we can improve the quality of our personal relationships. Ginger Lapid-Bogda is an expert in the use of the Enneagram in businesses and other organizations. In this informative interview she begins with a simple explanation of the personality types described in the Enneagram. She'll help you see how identifying your type will help you optimize your strengths and understand what aspects of your nature may be holding you back in your work, or creating unnecessary conflict in your relationships. Ms. Lapid-Bogda reminds us that greater self-understanding can help us be more accepting of those around us. In her words, "It's very easy for people to want to change other people. The truth is the only thing we really have control over is our own feelings, our own actions, our own responses. So if you work on yourself you have much less of a need to change others, because you're happier." (Hosted by Justine Willis Toms and Bec Kageyama)
