Starting with a red journal given to her as a gift, Sera Beak explores spirituality while living a young woman's ordinary modern life - fashion magazines and all. Academic study of comparative religion in college led her to travel to the places about which she had been reading. She visited Tibet and was granted an audience with H.H. the Dalai Lama during which she was indelibly impressed with his deep emotional authenticity and how, while in his presence, the divine was present in every moment. While journaling in her red book she discovered how to be open to the divine intuition within her. To hear the divine, dance with it and recognize it in all of our human activities is at the heart of her message. Beak says, "For me my main point is to find what resonates with you, to be open to the dance that goes on with your spirit." Beak is a modern day mystic who speaks in the plain, down to earth, uncensored language of youth and vitality. She is open-wide open-to the divine and invites you to join her, but only if you follow your own voice. (hosted by Justine Willis Toms)
